Pyotr Schwartzman

was born in 1947 in Moscow, Russia, presently resides in Ottawa, Canada. He is an artist with rich international experience that included a great number of personal and group exhibitions in Russia, Italy, United States, France, Chile and Canada. His mastery lies especially in the portraits, urban landscapes and series of architecturally inspired compositions that reflect his passion and excitement with the beauty of our planet that he has explored extensively through his travels. All of his work is characterized by warmth, and a fresh and intense palette of colours and a bold experimentation with mediums and styles.

Schwartzman is a graduate of Belarus Polytechnic Institute with a Masters degree in Architecture. His fine art work has appeared in numerous publications, such as, “Peintres du Quebec”, “La Guide Parcours”, “La Guide Valee”, “The Ottawa Citizen”, “Ottawa X-Press”, “NRS Daily” (New York), “El Mercurio”, “La Nacion”, and “Estategia” (Santiago de Chile). There are also a number of printed catalogues on Peter Schwartzman’s exhibitions.
